Marc Márquez won the MotoGP qualifying prize in 2018


The Spaniard Marc Márquez won today in Valencia, one of the new BMW M3 CS for having been the best driver in qualifying throughout the 2018 season of the world speed motorcycling.

The Honda rider, who was only fifth in qualifying for the Valencia Community Grand Prix on Sunday, had 341 points, 73 more than second-placed Ducati's Italian Andrea Dovizioso, takes home an exclusive model, limited to 1,200 units and costs 167 thousand euros.

Márquez won seven pole positions (America, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Thailand, Australia and Malaysia) this year against four of compatriot Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati). Dovizioso made two, Frenchman Johan Zarco (Yamaha) two others, while Italian Valentino Rossi, British Cal Crutchlow (Honda), Spaniard Maverick Viñales (Yamaha) and Australian Jack Miller (Ducati) made one each.
