Important, use a good Tequila, 100% agave, the distilled sap of a plant native to the region. Do not Cointreauan orange liqueur produced in France (alternatively use the traditional Triple Sec). You will not be able to lemon juice squeezed in the moment, coarse salt and ice.

How to produce, then, your Margarita?

As a glass, you will use a glass beaker.

Prepare the salt edge in the bowl: In a shallow dish, spread a generous serving of coarse salt.

However, using a slice of lemon cut into half-moon, moisten the edge of the bowl. While moist, lean the edge of the glass (lightly) on the coarse salt to allow it to stick. Slowly turn the lip over the salt and dispense excess. Do not allow salt to slip into the bowl. The first step is complete.

Next time, the mixture. In a mixing cup of cocktails (xxx) add ice cubes, up to 2/3 cup height, three Tequila liqueur cups, two Cointreau, or Triple Sec and a glass of liqueur juice.

As you can see, the ratio between Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice is decreasing (3: 2: 1). You can use other proportions, to meet the appetites of your palate. Any less Tequila and more Cointreau, for example (1: 2: 1), or the inverse (3: 1: 1). There are those who like to add to the ingredients a little sauce Tabasco, but is optional.

Shake generously for a few seconds, and finally the time to serve, pour into the glass adding the ice at the end. Decorate the edge of the bowl with a half-moon of lime.
