This Monday, the holiday of Camões Day, Portugal and the Portuguese Communities, Maria João Abreu decided to pay tribute to the Head of State, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
The actress revealed that her admiration for the politician is not recent and she praises him for the assiduous presence in the national theaters, as well as all the involvement in the culture.
"About the Day of Portugal, I leave this picture taken on World Theater Day at the Municipal Theater Joaquim Benite, during the play Fenda, written and staged by Rodrigo Francisco. I like this gentleman! I like our President Marcelo! And it is not from now on. I like him for simplicity, because he is attentive to the frailties of others and because he is a man of culture! I've seen him in the theater for years! A great good there", wrote.
