Maritime Authority advises against bathing in New Year's Eve celebrations

The National Maritime Authority (AMN) today advised the entire population not to go to the bath in the New Year celebrations, especially if they have consumed alcoholic beverages, and should avoid wetlands and cliffs.

“The general population is advised to exercise due care in coastal and beach walks, as well as in recreational activities in areas exposed to turbulence,” warns the Maritime Authority.

For the entity, it is “essential” that the guests “take a preventive posture, not exposing themselves unnecessarily to the risk”.

“On New Year's Eve, remember: You don't have to go to sea to celebrate,” concludes AMN.
