The striker Marocas was today the figure of the match between Louletano and Oriental, scoring the only goal of the match and deciding the only victory of Algarve clubs in a round 30 of the Portuguese Championship marked by the controversy in Olhão.
At the Estádio Algarve, the fans watched a balanced game, but poor in quality and with few moments of interest, standing out the two goalkeepers in the few opportunities of danger created during the 90 minutes.
In the final part of the match, both teams seemed to be happy with the draw, but the Marocas Algarve striker came to decide.
Coach Zé Nando's 89th-minute equalizer sealed a 15-second free-kick with a header that ended a 15-game unbeaten run by Oriental, 2nd-placed D.
The win threw Louletano to 11th place, with 40 points, five above the relegation zone.
The match was however marked by controversy generated by riots between Olhanense supporters and the players and Casa Pia's bank, after the second goal of the Lisbon (1-2 to 81 minutes), as diariOnline South Region had already reported.
After an attempt of invasion of field, the referee interrupted the game and, half an hour later, without police in the stadium, will have given the game finished. Find out now what will be the decision of the Portuguese Football Federation.
Armacenenses drew 1-1 in the field on 1 December in Sintra. Luís Rodrigues scored for the hosts (65 minutes), but Yaggo equalized for the winners (78), who are in 8th place with 44 points.
The already relegated Ferreiras, 17th and penultimate, with 17 points, lost by the minimum margin (1-0, goal of Patrick Igwe, 82 minutes) in the move to Moura.
On the next day, scheduled for Saturday, 20, the Algarve clubs will be involved in the following games: Vasco da Gama Vidigueira-Louletano, Armacenenses-Amora and Ferreiras-Olhanense.
