Miguel Oliveira rode in the second session of the first day of the third round of the season, with the hard tire at the front and the soft tire at the back, initialing 1m40.592s and improving in almost 3.5 seconds the time achieved in the first session, which was 1m44 , 000s.
The Almada rider got his best time on the 16th of the 18 laps made to the ‘Russian Mountain’, thus provisionally guaranteeing a place in the second stage of qualifying (Q2), which will be held tomorrow at the AIA.
Francesco Bagnaia in Ducati was the fastest
