The Portuguese driver Miguel Oliveira (KTM) guaranteed today the direct passage to the second phase of the qualifying session of the Grand Prix of Portugal of MotoGP, after being ninth in the third free practice session.
This morning's session was even interrupted for a few minutes to assist Spanish driver Jorge Martin (Ducati), who was a victim of a crash. The Spaniard was taken to the circuit's medical center, conscious.

The top ten fastest in this third free practice session made it through to the qualifying round (Q2), while the rest have to compete in Q1, which qualifies the two best for the next round.
Spaniard Marc Márquez (Honda), who returns to competition at the Portuguese GP after nine months of absence due to injury, was only 15th and will have to go through Q1.
The Portuguese GP is the third of 19 races of the season.
