The Return of Employment Support (VAE) is back and has more than one million vacancies to work in the European space next Monday, 11, at 9:30 am, at Cineteatro São Brás.
VAE aims to present solutions for improving employability in the European context through vocational training, internships or international volunteering experience.
It also aims to contribute to increasing the likelihood of success of applications which give access to the almost 1.5 million job openings available at European level.
The program of the session includes the presentation of the IEFPONLINE Platform, the EURES Cross-Border and the European Solidarity Corps, as well as two European-funded regional projects aimed at improving employability in the European area: the ECOS Cooperative project RURALidades, and Blue Generation project, from CONTEXTOS Cooperative.
Since 2013, the European Commission Representation in Portugal, through the network of Europe Direct Information Centers – in the Algarve hosted by the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR Algarve), in partnership with the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training ( IEFP) / EURES Network, promotes the Employment Support Tour in Portugal, aiming to promote matching between jobseekers and available jobs in the European Union.
Actions are organized throughout the year in various parts of the continent and islands to publicize concrete employment opportunities and support for employability, helping to meet the priorities of the European Commission, namely An economy at the service of the people, which in turn respond to the main concerns of European citizens: employment and skills acquisition and career opportunities.
