MotoGP to close 2020 championship at AIA in Portimão

A few days after the official confirmation of the Portuguese Grand Prix of Formula 1 at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (AIA), all that remains is the official confirmation that MotoGP 2020 will end on November 22 at the AIA, in Portimão, according to advanced news Autosport / Motorsport online.

The news from Autosport says that it has long been known that Dorna wanted to close the calendar until the end of this month, and apparently this will happen, since Dorna definitively canceled the three races scheduled for Argentina, Thailand and Malaysia, due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the AIA in Portimão receiving one of the replacement races, from 20 to 22 November, interestingly the last one on the calendar.

It is a case of saying that Portugal, the Algarve and especially the AIA, are in great shape, let's see for how long. The diariOnline South Region newspaper tried this afternoon to reach out to Paulo Pinheiro, AIA's CEO, but without success.
