«A Happy History of Life», by Andreia Gomes Maciel and with illustrations by Isa Silva, was the book that Castro Marim's local authority offered today, as a Christmas gift, to pre-school and 1st cycle children county.
It is a work that “works actions and emotions through a narrative that travels through Portuguese traditions and roots”, such as the bread cycle, weaving or basketry, with the particularity of also understanding such a present and identifying element of Castro Marim, the salt.
The delivery was made by the vice-president of the Castro Marim City Council, Filomena Sintra, and by the team of the Castro Marim Municipal Library, who, in the impossibility of meeting for a long period of time with the children, will now schedule the presentation, performed by the author, via Zoom.
This was the strategy that the municipality created to transform what was the traditional Christmas tale, offered to each child.
Thus, the children have the book and will have the opportunity to interact with the author, who will make a session for each room, aimed at different ages.
