New site shows "quality map" of broadband in Europe - Site of the day

European Broadband Mapping has three "levels" of access, depending on the purpose of the visitor: free access for the general public, access to experts, which requires registration, and access to data providers, only for entities linked to the area.

The information provided is provided voluntarily by public bodies in the Member States, as well as by private operators in related areas, on fixed and mobile services, also taking advantage of Eurostat socio-economic data.

The purpose of the general access map is for citizens to be able to make more informed decisions about the availability of broadband services in their region by comparing the data.

And speaking of regions, let us know that the portal does not yet show information about all the countries of the European Union, namely Portugal.
