Odemira municipality creates fund for companies

Municipal Emergency Fund Odemira Empreende +

The Municipality of Odemira created the Municipal Emergency Fund Odemira Empreende +, in the amount of 300 thousand euros, with the objective of minimizing the impact of the economic crisis on companies in the municipality as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and thus coping with the decrease income and contribute to the maintenance of jobs.

As with the support granted in 2020, the Municipality of Odemira considers it imperative to return to support the county's economy and especially the hundreds of micro and small companies, whose activity has been closed or largely conditioned.

Application phase runs until April 30

The Municipal Emergency Fund Odemira Empreende + is aimed at individual entrepreneurs and commercial companies in the sectors of commerce and services that, cumulatively, have been based in the municipality for more than six months, with turnover in 2020 up to € 400,000.00, do not have debts to the Tax and Customs Authority and Social Security, have a turnover reduction of more than 20% in 2020 compared to the previous year and have exercised the activity in 2020 for a minimum period of 6 months. Financial support will be granted per beneficiary.

This initiative stems from a set of extraordinary measures to support families, institutions and companies, in response to the social and economic crisis, approved at a town hall meeting held on February 4, 2021.

Applications must be made until April 30th through the form available on the Municipality's online page, and also by clicking here.
