Olhanense thrashed their neighbor Ferreiras today and, with three unfinished days in the Portuguese Championship Series D, there is still a bit of hope in the rise for the upcoming playoff.
On Matchday 31, the Olhão team traveled to the municipality of Albufeira and quietly beat a team already relegated to the district levels.
At half-time, Olhanense had already won 4-0 with Samon Rodriguez (5 minutes), Stevy (8) and Sapara (11 and 37), and substitute Hassan sealed the final score in the 90th minute.
Vasco Faísca's side are now in 4th place, with 57 points – already counting the victory over the Casa Pia, due to the lack of appearance of the opponent in the nine minutes remaining of the interrupted game of the last day – minus four 2nd place, the Eastern, with nine to play.
Armacenenses, ranked 8th with 45 points and guaranteed maintenance, drew home with Amora (1-1). Jussane opened the scoring for the outsiders (13) and Ary drew five minutes later.
Already Louletano, eleventh, took an important step to ensure the permanence, drawing with Vasco da Gama Vidigueira, in the field of rival (1-1), which even was to advantage.
The Algarve have 41 points (11th place), five more than the Alentejanos, who occupy the first position below the «water line».
