Portimonense coach Paulo Sérgio was fined 408 euros today, following a disagreement with his Porto counterpart, Sérgio Conceição, during the match last Saturday, the sports press revealed.
According to the punishment map published by the Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation, Paulo Sérgio was fined 408 euros and the subject of disciplinary proceedings.
During Portimonense-FC Porto (1-2), the two coaches got involved in a verbal duel and almost reached the de facto route, having to be separated by other elements of the two teams after they were already expelled.
The penalty map on the FPF CD also reveals the content of the exchange of words between the two coaches, based on the referee's report.
After the 1-2, Sérgio Conceição went to the bank in the Algarve and said “Take c *******, go to c ******, go f ****”. Paulo Sérgio replied: “Go fuck yourself, fuck you, you want something, it's out there.”
Sérgio Conceição, expelled for the third time in the I Liga, was fined 2,040 euros and also the subject of disciplinary proceedings.
In addition, the FPF CD also opened a disciplinary process to two Portimonense players, Maurício and Beto, both for "facts that occurred after the expulsion of both main coaches".
