The photographic exhibition "A New Boudoir" by Jéssica Coelho, signed by the name of Caroliinaii, will be visible from today, Friday, 12, in the gallery of the regional direction of the Algarve of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth ( IPDJ) in Faro.
The boudoir consisted of a small room where secrets were spoken, where lace was created, where in pastel tones the intimate world of the woman was revealed. It was used exclusively by ladies, to dress, spend time, receive visitors, write, embroider, "the IPDJ said in a statement.
"My" A New Boudoir "brings the glamor of the feminine world to the present time, where colors and lingerie are the thread," says the young photographer.
Inspired by the photographers Nuno Figueiredo and Nicola Mitchell, Caroliinaii began to structure and think about the composition and framing of the works and decided, afterwards, to have male models. "Give them stage because they are also part of the world of women," he said.
"I wanted to do something new, and that's where this photographic exhibition is born. It was an option, a subject that could easily fall into audacity, but it was the opposite that was the challenge. That interested me, "he concluded.
The show will open today, Friday, 12 at 7:00 p.m., and will be open until August 6, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 p.m.
