Portimonense and Farense receive 150 thousand euros to invest in training

Portimonense and Farense will receive around 145 thousand euros to invest exclusively in training football, within the scope of the UEFA solidarity fund, announced today the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF).

According to the Lusa agency, the FPF will distribute 4.187 million euros to the 29 clubs, 13 from the 1st league and 16 from the 2nd league, which have not reached the group stage of European competitions.

The emblems will receive around 145 thousand euros, exclusively for investments in training football.

The federative body recalls that this amount adds to the more than one million euros made available to clubs in the II League, due to the interruption of competition in 2019/20 due to the pandemic of covid-19, referring to the fund that encourages clubs in improving stadium conditions, but which, exceptionally, can be used for other purposes.
