Portimonense drew today, without goals, in the reception to the direct opponent Marítimo, 18th and last classified at the entrance to the 21st round of the 1st League of football.
In a weak game and without great reasons for interest, the two teams opted for great doses of pragmatism and never took much risk in offensive terms, the danger close to the two goals becoming scarce.
The best chance of the match belonged to the Madeirans, in the 81st minute: after a throw-in by Pelágio, the Mozambican center-back Zainadine responded to the first post with a header.
Portimonense now occupies the 13th place, with 20 points, two above the relegation zone.
In the next round, Paulo Sérgio's team receives Tondela, in a game scheduled for Saturday, at 3:30 pm.
