Portugal and Equatorial Guinea sign protocol for teaching Portuguese - O Jornal Económico


The Camões Institute and the National University of Equatorial Guinea signed a protocol that marks the beginning of cooperation in the promotion of the Portuguese language by Portuguese entities in that country of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), the Portuguese Government announced today.

"The protocol establishes the creation of a Reader of Portuguese and a Center of Portuguese Language / Camões, at the National University of Equatorial Guinea, having already been selected the teacher who will ensure the development of a degree and a secondary course in Portuguese Studies . The protocol also establishes the creation of projects in the field of the training of teachers of Portuguese as a foreign language, "the Government said in a statement.

The protocol was signed in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo, Portugal's Chargé d'affaires Manuel Grainha do Vale and the university's rector, Filiberto Ntutumu Nguema Nchama, attended by the Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Equatorial Guinea, Bonifácio Mitogo Bindang.
