THE Portuguese women's team football under 17 qualified for the second time for the final phase of the European of the category by beating France 1-0 on Matchday 3 of Group 5 of the Elite Round.
At the Luso, a goal from Lara Pintassilgo, just five minutes later, it was enough for the formation of the 'quinas' to win the group, with the full three triumphs, having beaten the Czech Republic 1-0 and Northern Ireland 6-0.
The team led by José Paisana, who finished the group with nine points, against six of the Gauls, and repeats 2014, joins in the final phase, from 05 to 17 May, to host Bulgaria and England, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark .
The other two finalists are Spain or Poland, who are still facing today, and Austria and Belgium, with a clash scheduled for Saturday.
In the finals of the U17 Women's European Championship, played in England, Portugal made a debut for the group stage when they drew 0-0 with Austria and lost 2-1 to Italy with the home selection, 6-1.
