Production in construction accelerated to 3.1% in March – The Economic Journal

The Construction Production Index rose from 2.3% in February to 3.1% in March, while the employment and wage index increased by 3.3% and 5.6% 2.5% and 5.9% in February), respectively, according to data released by the National Statistics Index (INE) this Thursday, May 9.

The index on compensation in the sector has also grown. "The rate of remuneration actually paid registered a year-on-year rate of change of 5.6%. Compared to the previous month [fevereiro], the remuneration index grew by 2.4% ".
