This position was transmitted to the journalists by the leader of the socialist party, Carlos César, at the end of the weekly meeting of the PS Parliamentary Group.
"The PS never devalued what happened in Tancos, never closed the matter and never overcame the judicial investigation, awaiting its conclusions. We understand that if the [da República] intends to investigate in parallel what happened, you have the right to do so. The PS is not an obstacle to this happening, "he said.
The Assembly of the Republic will debate and vote on October 24 the proposal of the CDS-PP to set up a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the political consequences and responsibilities for the theft of arms in Tancos.
