Farense confirmed today the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Rafael Defendi, the fourth reinforcement of the Algarve team to attack the return to the I football league.
“Sporting Clube Farense – Algarve Futebol S.A.D. he informs that he has reached an agreement with the athlete Rafael Defendi for the conclusion of a work contract for the duration of two sports seasons ”, announced the Algarves, in a statement on social networks.
The 36-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper was free after playing in Famalicão for the past two seasons, where he was coached by current Farense coach Sérgio Vieira.
In Portuguese football, Defendi also represented Desp. Birds and Paços de Ferreira.
The experienced goalkeeper became the fourth reinforcer for Farense, after goalkeeper Ricardo Velho, midfielder Amine Oudrhiri and striker Pedro Henrique.
