Rafael Lourenço (UD Oliveirense / InOutBuild) and Vicente García de Mateos (Aviludo / Louletano) won on Saturday the main individual events of the Tavira Track Festival.
The oliveirense team's Algarve runner took the lead, a race popularly known as the '100 laps on the track'.
Rafael Lourenço was accompanied on the podium by Francisco Duarte (Agricultural Credit / Jorbi / Almodovar), 2nd place, and Dominic Mestre (Evo Pro Racing), 3rd place.
Spaniard Vicente García de Mateos took the lead in the elimination race, leaving Hugo Nunes (Rádio Popular-Boavista) and Aleksandr Grigorev (Sporting-Tavira) in 2nd and 3rd places, respectively.
Popular-Boavista Radio won the team speed competition, while Sicasal / Constantinos was the best formation in team pursuit.
In the scratch events for the youths, the junior Daniel Gonçalves (Joaquim Agostinho Academy / UDO) and the cadet Guilherme Pereira (Sporting Center of Vila Real de Santo António) stood out.
The Tavira Track Festiva put, in a festive mood, an end to the national road season.
