The Portuguese footballer Rafael Vieira will strengthen the defensive axis of the Farense for the next season, revealed today the club of II Liga of soccer.
The 26-year-old central defender has signed a contract for the 2019/2020 season, with yet another season opener and an associated termination clause, but not specified in the statement released by the Faro club.
Rafael Vieira arrives in the Algarve from Sporting de Covilhã, where he has played in 27 matches in the last edition of the II Liga. Formed in Vitória de Guimarães, he also represented Lousada, Ribeirão, Bragança and Vilaverdense.
The center is the second reinforcement of the Algarve, who had already announced the forward Fabrício Simões (ex-Famalicão) to the squad of coach Sergio Vieira.
