Rapper YNW Melly is charged with two felony manslaughter murders and may face the death penalty. According to TMZ, the prosecutor's office in the state of Florida will ask for the maximum conviction for the musician.
The artist was arrested in February and is charged with shooting Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr., former members of his team. In court, the rapper pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors point out that YNW Melly killed his colleagues for "financial gain," adding that "homicides were particularly heinous, atrocious and cruel."
According to the TMZ website, authorities believe that rapper YNW Melly did not act alone and that Cortlen Henry was his accomplice.
