Regional School Cutter brings together 2,400 Algarvian students in Faro


Corta Mato Escolar Regional will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, 15, in Vale das Almas, Faro, bringing together about 2,400 students from schools throughout the region.

The race starts at 10:00 am and will be attended by male and female students from children A (born 2009 to 2011), children B (2007 and 2008), beginners (2005 and 2006), juveniles ( 2002 to 2004) and juniors (1998 to 2001), who will travel – according to age – distances from 1,000 to 3,500 meters.

The event also includes a Corta Mato Adapada, designed for students who have limitations of functionality that do not allow them to participate in the tests of echelons and gender in a situation of sports equity.

In addition to the participating students and responsible teachers, Corta Mato Regional will have the support of 65 volunteer students from Pinheiro e Rosa School, Sports Technician and Aquatic Rescue Course and about 30 teachers from the organization, in addition to from a medical team of 15 people and the firefighters, who will be preventing the activity.
