The Algarve duo Ricardo Teodósio / José Teixeira continues to believe in the revalidation of the national rally title and will enter the Terras D’Aboboreira Rally, which is scheduled for 30 and 31 October, with a single objective: to win.
However, taking into account the Government's determination, released yesterday, in which it is forbidden to circulate between municipalities in the period between October 30 and November 3, the race must be postponed or canceled.
For now, the Skoda Fabia R5 Evo from Team Vito Skoda is on display this weekend at the Motorsport Village, in Portimão, about the Portuguese Grand Prix of Formula 1.
The second place obtained in the Vidreiro / Centro de Portugal Rally and above all the score limited by the unfortunate circumstances in which the race ended ended up hurting the double national champion in title, who was in a position to reach victory in Marinha Grande.
Returning to the dirt floors at the Portugal Rally Championship (CPR), Ricardo Teodósio and José Teixeira return to bet on the fight for first place.
“After what happened in Marinha Grande, the Rally Terras D’Aboboreira will be almost a final for us. We have to recover as many points as possible from direct competition and that will only be possible if we win the two remaining rallies. We are not as aware of the Terras D'Aboboreira sections as our rivals, but that doesn’t take away our ambition to fight for victory ”, says Ricardo Teodósio, who in 2020 celebrates 30 years of career, after having started in Karting in 1990 .
The Terras D’Aboboreira Rally, if not postponed or canceled, will take place on Friday (the 30th) and Saturday (the 31st), with a total of six land classifications, which make up 100.38 kilometers timed.
