«Coming to paint has become an essential routine, being the bridge that connects your inner world with the outside. The choice of themes led him to new discoveries, knowledge, possibilities and experimentation with techniques and plastic materials », says the municipality. «Without fear of the blank canvas, he becomes more familiar with drawing and painting techniques to meet his style, with great dedication», he adds.
Rui Marques was diagnosed with Autism at a young age and artistic practice has been a help, and now painting is more than a therapy it is also an opportunity to publicize his artistic work and perhaps the beginning of a new path. He has participated in individual and group exhibitions, getting to be awarded for his work in painting contests nationwide.
