The SAD of Futebol Clube do Porto concludes the fiscal year ended June 30 of this year, with a loss of 28,444 million euros, according to the statement sent this Thursday, October 11, from the portistas to the Securities Market Commission Furniture (CMVM).
Although negative, this result "follows the trend that the Company has committed to follow, and respects the commitment made with UEFA on the way to the balance in its operating accounts", reads the statement.
The 'dragons' point out that this figure represents an improvement over the same period last year (-35.3 million). For this contributed the increase of the revenues of the club portista. Not counting players' passing revenues, SAD 'blue and white' closed with a turnover of 105.8 million euros, 7% more than last year.
SAD's EBITDA rose 22% from EUR 22,751 million to EUR 27,921 million. With the exception of broadcasting rights, where the financial contribution fell by 5.6%, dropping from 23,932 million to 23,712 million euros. All other items such as merchandising, box office and UEFA competitions registered increases in the figures generated.
