Iker Casillas's wife, Sara Carbonero, said today that the Spanish goalkeeper "is doing very well" and that "he will have a 100% normal life" after having suffered a myocardial infarction last week.
"[Casillas] He is very well, quiet at home, very relaxed and receiving many visits. He is still assimilating what happened, but they told him that he will have a 100% normal life, "said the journalist in Ibiza, in statements reproduced by the EFE agency.
Sara Carbonero also said that Casillas "is a good patient, who does not complain too much and does not give work".
The Spanish guardian suffered an acute myocardial infarction last week during a training session at FC Porto and had to undergo emergency catheterization and was discharged on Monday.
Just over a month ago, Casillas renewed his contract with FC Porto, which he reached in 2015/16, after having made his career at Real Madrid, having helped the 'dragons' to achieve the title of national champion of the season last.
