The House of the People of Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira, hosts the concert of the Cape Verdean artist Tcheka, integrated in the series "Serões da Primavera" on Saturday, 25, at 10:00 p.m.
Tcheka, the artistic name of Manuel Lopes Andrade, created "a unique and refined style, proof of different global influences", refers to the organization of the event.

Despite referring to several Cape Verdean musical genres (batuku, funaná, finason, tabanka, morna and coladeira), Tcheka's sonority is considered a cross between Brazilian and African pop with folk, jazz, blues, rock and even , literature, anthropology and cinema.
He performs regularly with the Portuguese pianist Mário Laginha, and in recent years he has been present mainly in foreign countries.
Of his course are the following albums: "Boka Kafé" (2017), "Dor De Mar" (2011), "Lonji" (2007), "Nu Monda" (2005) and "Argui" (2003).
