The 4th edition of E-Tech Portugal will take place on May 10 and 11 in Setúbal (CAIS 3 – Zona Ribeirinha), having this year "Digital Transformation" as a motto. The event, which is part of the Information Technologies, Communications and Electronics area, is aimed at the general public, entrepreneurs, teachers, researchers and professionals in the area and organized by EDUGEP – School of Programming, in partnership with Setúbal City Hall, ANPRI (National Association of Computer Teachers), AISET (Industrial Association of the Peninsula of Setúbal) and IPS – Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, also counting on Altice Portugal as master sponsor and with SAPO as a media partner.
E-Tech sees its size increased for this 4th edition. It will have more exhibitors and a greater diversity of initiatives taking place simultaneously, allowing to reach a very diversified public. E-Tech Portugal '19 integrates exhibitions, conferences, competitions, games, workshops and will therefore attract many thousands of visitors.
To the example of the previous edition, a conference will be held during the two days with the theme "Digital Transformation". In this space of sharing and debate, it is intended to bring to Setúbal what is good in these areas, to discuss current events, discuss the future and prepare the way for the new generations.
Among the speakers will be invited as Alexandre Fonseca, Chief Executive Officer of Altice Portugal, João Palmeiro, President of API – Portuguese Press Association or José Vítor Pedroso, Director General of Education and expert in digital transformation in education.
