The city council of Silves, in partnership with Educarte, will promote in May and June a training course on "Psychological Intervention in Behavior and Attention Disorders". The training will take place in e-learning, and will be promoted by Marta Vidal Paula, trainer of the Educarte Project.
The training is aimed at psychologists with a professional certificate from the Portuguese Psychologists Association or students of the integrated master's degree in the psychology course. «It aims to develop the methodology of psychological intervention with children and young people with moderate or severe dysfunctions in reading, writing and calculating skills. It is intended that trainees may be able to plan and adjust a therapeutic intervention, defining general and specific objectives; select intervention techniques and instruments appropriate to the defined objectives and the child; manage work with parents and other technicians or institutions and prepare a register to monitor and validate the intervention project », describes the municipality.
Registrations are limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 25 participants and cost 60 euros, and must be made with the psychology sector of the chamber, as well as filling out the registration form, through the email psicologia @ cm- silves.pt.
