Social Security will stop sending e-mail alerts to the recipients of social benefits. To consult this information, the beneficiaries will have to consult the Social Security platforms.
The simplification of communication processes and security reasons are the two reasons Social Security wants to stop sending emails. The beneficiaries will have their information available in the agenda of the Social Security Direct platform and the mobile application "Social Security + Next".
"Over the last few years Social Security has been using various communication channels to send information related to social benefits," according to an e-mail to which the Economic Journal had access.
"In order to simplify the communication processes and increase the level of security required, the information that was usually sent through this route will become available exclusively in its Agenda, both in Social Security Direct and in the mobile application" Security Social + Next, "according to the alert sent on June 13.
