The Royal Spanish Football Federation has decided to ban football games before 7.30 pm "for health reasons". The measure will be applied in the period between May 20 and September 15 and was approved by the RFEF, after having been sent for analysis to the Sports Commission of the Superior Council of Wastes, on October 5, 2018.
As the body has not taken any decision since then, the Royal Spanish Football Federation approved the measure, "for positive administrative silence," writes the daily 'Marca'.
In the statement published on its website, the RFEF explains that the delimited period is due to the months in which it is hottest in Spain.
The body says that the measure of having the games after 7.30 will help protect the protagonists and enhance a better quality of play.
