Spanish painter Eduardo Arroyo died - Showbiz



The Spanish painter Eduardo Arroyo died today at his 81-year-old home in Madrid, family sources told EFE news agency.

Known as a painter, figurative sculptor and writer, Eduardo Arroyo was born in Madrid on February 26, 1937.

In 1958 he left voluntarily for exile in Paris, where he lived until the end of the dictatorship in Spain.

In 1982 he received the National Prize for the Arts and is appointed as one of the exponents of the current narrative figuration.
