Sporting FC and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached agreement on the final transfer of striker Bas Dost to the Bundesliga club, announced the 'lions' today.
“Sporting Clube de Portugal – Football, SAD announces that it has reached a principle in agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the definitive sale of sports rights to player Bas Dost,” the Lions said on their official website.
Eintracht Frankfurt, on its official website, also states that the 30-year-old Dutch international “Will no longer be present at Sporting's match against Sporting Braga”, scheduled for Sunday.
The clubs have not revealed the values of the deal, nor the length of the contract that will link Bas Dost to the Bundesliga team, in which he will be teammate of Portuguese Gonçalo Paciência.
This will be a return for the Dutch striker to Germany, where he represented Wolfsburg between 2012 and 2016, before heading to the Alvalade emblem. For the lions, Bas Dost has scored 127 matches and 93 goals.
