The Government will support sports clubs and sports-promoting associations with a million euros, through the National Sport for All Program (PNDpT), whose process of the first application phase opened yesterday.

The PNDpT, which was prepared in accordance with the international guidelines of the Sport for All movement and adopts the definition enshrined in the European Charter for Sport, aims to reinforce support for regular sporting activities that promote health and healthy lifestyles among all segments of the population.
The program also intends to "contemplate social inclusion (ethnic minorities, disadvantaged people, people deprived of their liberty, children and young people, senior population, among others), the integration of people with disabilities and the promotion of gender equality".
According to the IPDJ, the PNDpt, which this year will distribute one million euros in support, has already contemplated 1,341 projects, with the investment reaching more than 18 million euros.
The IPDJ clarifies that "given the pandemic that the country is going through, in this edition, expenses that support the performance of activities in safety in the context of the covid-19 disease will also be considered eligible".
