Next Monday, August 10, Startup Portimão marks the third anniversary in the presence of the Secretary of State for Commerce, Services and Consumer Protection, João Torres, and with the launch of support guides for
entrepreneurs and investors, as well as a conversation with one of the most recent entrepreneurs in the municipality's incubator.
The program will take place at the facilities of Startup Portimão, located at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in compliance with the safety rules of the Directorate-General for Health, with the opening session scheduled for 4:30 pm, with the participation of the president of NERA – Associação Empresarial from the Algarve Region, Vítor Neto, Parkalgar's administrator, Paulo Pinheiro and Luís Matos Martins, responsible for the agency's partner entity in the management of the incubator and for the Mayor of Portimão, Isilda Gomes.
The Secretary of State for Commerce, Services and Consumer Protection, João Torres, will be present at the public presentation of the Guide for Entrepreneurs “Portimão é a Opção” and the Guide for Investors “Um Mergulho em Portimão”, with bilingual editions in Portuguese and English , after which the results will be released
achieved by Startup Portimão between 2017 and 2020.
A conversation with Leonardo Silva, from Breakfast Away, an online platform for food delivery, dedicated to hotel breakfasts. Leonardo is one of the most recent entrepreneurs of the portimonense incubator under StartUP Visa, a program to welcome foreign entrepreneurs
that develop technology-based entrepreneurship projects and innovation in incubators certified by IAPMEI – Institute of Support to Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation, as is the case of Startup Portimão.
