O Condeixa Aqua Club (CAC) guaranteed, last Saturday, the rise to 2nd National Men's Division by teams, after the 3rd place in the National Championship of the 3rd Division. In a competition that counted on the presence of 32 clubs, Condeixa's team made history by reaching the third place in the championship, which guarantees the climb to the 2nd Division.
Condeixa's team presented itself in great form, with a determined attitude and of overcoming, as the results demonstrate.
The numbers speak for themselves. In 13 races he has recorded 13 personal records, being seven of the club's absolute records: 100 and 200 back, 400 and 800 free, 200 breasts, and 4 × 100 free and style records. The Condeixenses finished the championship with 370 points, less four than the Desportivo Nacional, which was 2nd place, and 26 fewer than the national champion, Clube Naval do Funchal.
In the same event, the Union of Coimbra, another representative of the Association of Swimming of Coimbra, was 6º, with 296 points.
Also in the 3rd Division, but in the women's sector, Louzan Natação and União de Coimbra participated, which finished in the 6th and 7th positions, respectively, with 289 and 277 points.
