The Alvaro de Campos Municipal Library in Tavira will host a debriefing session on Friday, 11 am at 10:00 am, on the contest “Development through Safeguarding and Revitalizing Coastal Cultural Heritage”.
This is an initiative promoted by the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage to support and clarify potential candidates for that European Economic Area Grants (EEA Grants) Portugal funding contest.
The EEA Grants Portugal Culture Program aims to strengthen cultural cooperation, social and economic development through entrepreneurship and cultural management and focuses on two distinct axes: coastal cultural heritage and the arts.
This initiative aims to raise awareness of the programme's objectives and to raise interest in stakeholders and local communities as potential project promoters or partners.
The added value of creating projects in this area is the possibility of making multiple partnerships with donor country entities, encouraging the sharing of experiences, capacity building based on good cultural practices, the use of new technologies and the internationalization of the Portuguese cultural heritage.
Thus, it is intended to produce significant impacts on the revitalization and sustainable development of local communities, starting from the valorization of their identity bases.
The content of the presentations is technical and aims to clarify potential beneficiaries of funding.
Admission is free and requires registration here.
