Bi4All, a Portuguese company specializing in Data Analytics solutions, started a new edition of the Talent Academy on May 6. It is a program developed to facilitate the integration of recent graduates and professionals who wish to reconvert their career in the information technology sector.
The 12 participants, aged 26-36, come from several Portuguese universities, namely ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, New University of Lisbon and Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. For two months, the young professionals will be integrated into the Bi4All team, having the possibility of developing technical skills in different methodologies and solutions related to the area of expertise of the national technology: Analytics, Big Data and Data Science.
During the program, the trainees will be guided by a team of Senior Managers and Consultants, who will then evaluate them, both at a practical and theoretical level. José Oliveira, CEO of Bi4All, believes that "currently, the number of people available in the area is no longer enough to fill all the vacancies that appear throughout the country, which leads us to conclude that the solution to this problem has to pass for the training of new professionals, but also for the requalification of people who want to integrate this market. For this reason, we understand that the training offer in the real context of work is so important. "
For the second half of 2019, Bi4All is planning to hold another edition of the Talent Academy. Applications are available on the company's website. This initiative is framed in the recruitment plans developed by Bi4All, which includes the hiring of 70 new employees throughout this year.
