On the other hand, following visits to Querença and Mértola, on October 12, a visit will be made to the Museum of Portimão, guided by its responsible, José Gameiro, followed by a lunch at the restaurant Faina.
The afternoon will be occupied by a trip to other places of environmental and cultural interest in the western Algarve.
Registration is open until the 7th via email [email protected]
Tertúlia Farense is still preparing a tribute to the artist Fernando Silva Grade, who died on September 8th.
“This is a great loss for the causes of the defense of the environmental and cultural heritage of Faro and the Algarve and of civic intervention. He was the founder of Tertulia Farense and one of the main animators of our Tertulian meetings, never failing to expose and fight for the values that in his view best suited a harmonious and sustainable development of the Algarve that he loved so much ”, he says.
The intention is to jointly organize a tribute to his artistic and civic intervention through an event scheduled for early November.
The preparation of this initiative is open to the participation of volunteers, who may use the above address for any suggestions.
