The Ministry of Health asserts that “it is not aware, so far, of constraints in the supply of any essential goods to hospitals / health centers, and all units are operating normally”.
This is the entity's response to radio “TSF” to ANTRAM's statements about the possibility that supplies to hospitals in the areas of Lisbon, Leiria and Coimbra could be at risk in the next 24 hours.
“Supply to hospitals and health centers is guaranteed through access to REPA. Access is also guaranteed to all entities, defined as priorities, providing emergency medical services and transportation of medicines and medical devices, as provided for in SPC no. 134 / A / 2019 of 9 August ”indicates the Ministry of Health.
The President of the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Regional Administration, Luís Pisco, said that “no information was received from any hospital, nor from any health center that had supply problems”.
