"Tidelands" debuts in December on Netflix.
"Tidelands," the first Australian series from Netflix, with production signed by Hoodlum, winner of Emmys and BAFTAs, debuts on December 14. According to the streaming service, the story goes accompany Cal McTeer (Charlotte Best,) a young woman who returns home in a small fishing village in Orphelin Bay after ten years of juvenile detention and imprisonment.
"When the body of a local fisherman goes ashore, the clandestine relationship of the area with drug smuggling is suddenly exposed by media interest. Cal must discover the well-hidden secrets of his homeland while investigating a group of people living in a Elsa Pataky ('Furious Speed +') stars the mysterious and seductive Adrielle Cuthbert, leader of the Tidelanders, who will do everything to protect her tribe.
