Singer and songwriter Viviane will return to the stage today, Thursday, 22, at Teatro das Figuras, in Faro, starting at 7:30 pm, premiering some of the songs from her new original album, which will be released soon.
The Portuguese singer, songwriter and lyricist, born in France and based in the Algarve for decades, started her musical career in the early 90s with the group Entre Aspas.
Her desire to explore other sounds led Viviane to start a solo career in 2005, in which she traced a firm and coherent path, in which she mirrored her very personal idea of a new and borderless music, in which fado, intertwined with other musical genres, it is “revised in the light of a refined, elegant and sophisticated pop sensibility” which it calls “Mediterranean fado”.
Recently, Viviane was awarded the 1st Prize «Portugal to discover Portugal», awarded by the Portuguese Society of Authors, with the song «Oh! My little country »and participated in the Festival da Canção, at the invitation of RTP, as an author, with the theme« Com um abraço ».
In this show, whose tickets cost 12 euros, Viviane is accompanied by Tó Viegas (Portuguese guitar), Filipe Valentim (keyboard and melodic), João Vitorino (acoustic viola), Bruno Vítor (double bass) and Ivo Martins (drums).
