In a statement, the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP) and the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) reported on the results of the visits made by the regional health authorities to 15 stadiums candidates to receive games in the resumption of the competition, scheduled for June 4.
Estádio da Luz (Benfica), Estádio do Dragão (FC Porto), Estádio José Alvalade (Sporting), Estádio D. Afonso Henriques (Vitória de Guimarães), João Cardoso Stadium (Tondela), Estádio do Marítimo, Estádio Municipal de Braga, Portimão Estádio and Cidade do Futebol (FPF) were approved by the DGS to receive games immediately. Just yesterday, the Capital do Móvel Stadium, home of Paços de Ferreira, was the 10th stadium to be approved by General Directorate of Health (DGS) to receive games from 1st league.
As for the stadiums in Bonfim (Vitória de Setúbal), Cidade de Barcelos (Gil Vicente), Clube Desportivo das Aves, Bessa and Rio Ave, DGS indicated “a set of corrections that will have to be targeted in order for them to be again inspected by health authorities ”.
Santa Clara and Belenenses SAD have already announced that they will play in Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras, while Famalicão will receive opponents in Barcelos, and Moreirense will also not play in their stadium, with Guimarães being the strongest chance.
