Twinning of Águeda with Rio Grande marked 25 years

The distance between Águeda and Rio Grande as well as the trade barriers imposed by Brazil, as a protective measure of its internal market, may justify that, after 25 years of twinning between the two cities, no steps have been taken in the commercial relations between companies

Rio Grande recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the twinning with Águeda, inviting the municipality of Águeda and the Municipal Assembly to attend, which led Jorge Almeida and Brito Salvador to that Brazilian state, and stayed there from 6 to 13 November, taking advantage of the trip to FESTURIS 2018, in Gramado, a tourism fair where the city and the Bairrada Route were present.
