Vitória de Guimarães announced today that they will receive their Desportivo de Chaves Stadium on the 28th day of the I Liga, after the Arbitration Court of Sports suspended the ban imposed by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF).
"The Arbitral Tribunal of Sport (TAD) has responded to the arguments put forward by Vitória SAD and suspended the decision of the Disciplinary Council of the FPF. In this sense, the meeting between Vitória and Chaves, scheduled for tomorrow [sábado, às 18:00], will be held at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques ", indicates the official website of the minhoto club.
After the Federative Disciplinary Council announced the decision to ban D. Afonso Henriques Stadium for a match on Tuesday, Vitoria is now awaiting a verdict from the TAD after the appeal was accepted.
The decision of the FPF concerns a case brought to Vitória de Guimarães, following the match with Sporting de Braga, of the eighth round of the I Liga (1-1), in which PSP was found by pyrotechnic material in a room of the stadium D Afonso Henriques.
As part of the proceedings, the Vimaranenses were ordered to pay a fine of € 36,000 and to compensate Sporting de Braga for € 11,000 for the damages caused on the bus when the Arsenal player arrived at the stadium.
