Now begins to television broadcasting online, live, from the Faro Hall, the Debate / Colloquium on the European Elections, in an ALGFUTURO – BUSINESS UNION OF ALGARVE.
The main objective of the Debate / Colloquium on European Elections, which is held on 26 May, is to clarify the largest number of people on issues related to the European Union and mainly on matters related to the electoral process.
This Debate / Colloquium, organized by ALGFUTURO, has invited, among other individuals, eight candidates to the European Parliament, namely:
Margaret Marques (PS – Socialist Party) – Graduated in Mathematics, Member of the Assembly of the Republic, former Secretary of State for European Affairs.
First Name (PSD – Social Democratic Party) – Engineer, Prof. Professor, former Minister of Science and MEP.
Pedro Mota Soares (CDS – Centro Democrático Social) – Lawyer, deputy to the Assembly of the Republic, former Minister of Solidarity.
Alexandre Abreu (BE – Left Block) – University Professor and Researcher.
Rui Ribeiro (PCP – Portuguese Communist Party) – Licensed in Hotel Management and Autarch.
Nuno Ferreira (Alliance) – University Professor and Vice-President of the Party.
António Marinho e Pinto (PDR – Republican Democratic Party) – Lawyer and former President of the Order, MEP.
Paulo Morais (US Citizens) – University Professor and former candidate for President of the Republic.
The Debate / Colloquium begins with the intervention of the President of ALGFUTURO, José Vitorino, followed by the interventions of the candidates, followed by a question-and-answer period, ending the event with a summary of the conclusions by the Vice-President of the ALGFUTURO, Luís Coelho. Professor António Covas, from UALG, a doctorate in European affairs, is the moderator of the debate that is open to the general population.
